It appears that the press conference regarding the iPhone 4 will only be for a select few in the media. They will then pass that information along to the rest of us. More then likely we will be able to view the press conference later on. WHY? Why can’t a leader of technology such as Apple make this available to us all to watch live? It’s not like the media isn’t going to repeat everything to us all, why not let us hear it from Apple directly? I know it was a last minute scheduling, but it this could of been accomplished and I feel would of helped bolster my view of Apple confronting this problem head on. Just my opinion, but I doubt I’m the only person who wishes they could watch it live!
Update:
See the presentation here
Worth a watch for sure. The demonstration of the bar drop on competing phones is very telling. Listening to Steve Jobs directly instead of thru someone else gives the full picture of Apple’s response. Why, in my opinion, they should of had this live to the world from the get go.
Update 2:
Seems like they briefly broke the link to the press conference and sent people to the WWDC 2010 introduction of the iPhone. It was quickly fixed.
Update 3:
When you click the link it appears that you are directed to the WWDC keynote. If you paste the link directly into your browser. You end up at the proper place. Hmmmmm…
